National Summary:
A trough extends across the NT, SA, NSW and VIC, generating showers and storms. Winds ahead of the trough are northerly, bringing a very warm morning to much of NSW. A change is pushing along the NSW coast, dropping temperatures. A front is approaching WA, causing the odd shower.
The polar jet is directing a front and showers across southern WA. The sub-tropical jet is sending some moist air over WA and SA which is helping showers and storms near the trough become heavier.
